About the Position

This is a challenging position that requires aspects of both design and implementation.  Senstar is looking for someone to work closely with our video management software (VMS) Development and QA teams to develop automated tests in languages such as C#, C++, JavaScript, and Selenium Web Driver to ensure quality in our products across multiple platforms (Windows/Linux/Web/Android/iOS).  This role will include implementing and enhancing our existing test framework, as well as conducting manual testing as needed. 

 

 

Requirements - The qualified candidate must have:

  • 1+ years of professional experience developing C# (.NET) or JavaScript applications (internal tools or published applications)
  • Possess a genuine interest in improving software quality
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent English communication skills

 

 

An ideal candidate would also have experience with some or all of the following:

  • Direct experience developing an Automated test framework
  • Experience with Selenium Web Driver
  • Languages: C# .Net, C++, Python, SQL, PowerShell, Java Script
  • Code Coverage tools
  • Applying QA principles in an Agile environment
  • Strong background in functional testing
  • Executing performance tests
  • Windows application automation
  • Configuring and using virtual environments (VMWare, Docker)

 

 

Location & Duration

  • This is a full time permanent role based out of Senstar's office in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
