About the Position

Senstar is looking for talented individuals to push the boundaries of video analytics and build the next generation of smart surveillance software. As part of a highly-skilled team of researchers and software engineers, you will use cutting edge advancements in deep learning to build solutions for real-world surveillance problems like multi-camera tracking, person re-identification, facial recognition, and license plate recognition. At Senstar, you will develop systems that will be rapidly deployed in production at customer sites around the world.

We have an immediate requirement for a Vision Developer.

 

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop computer vision algorithms for cutting-edge surveillance applications.
  • Create efficient, production-ready systems complete with automated tests and performance metrics.
  • Work with the product team and customers to discover new ways that AI can revolutionize video analytics.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • MS / PhD specializing in Computer Vision/Machine Learning or Bachelors with equivalent experience
  • You need strong understanding of at least two of the following:
    • Convolution neural networks (CNN) - particularly training deep neural networks for detection and classification.
    • Multi-target tracking and detection-based tracking.
    • Facial Recognition.
    • Person Re-Identification.
    • License Plate Detection and Recognition.
  • 5+ years of experience in C and C++
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing computer vision algorithms
  • Experience with libraries such as OpenCV, IPP, Tensorflow, Caffe
  • Experience deploying machine learning / computer vision algorithms for real world problems
  • Some experience in Matlab/Octave and Python
  • Development experience in Windows and Linux
  • Fluent in English and have strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel occasionally

 

Location & Duration

  • This is a full-time permanent role based out of Senstar’s office in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
