Marketing and Events Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing and Events Coordinator will conduct a wide range of activities that support marketing and sales.


Main responsibilities:

  • Assist marketing team with collateral material development, updates and production
  • Organize and maintain extensive documentation library
  • Manage document review and distribution process for marketing and sales collateral material
  • Coordinate translation of materials
  • Publish updates to internal and external websites
  • Coordinate logistics for trade shows around the world including booking booth space, show services, submitting proposals for presentations, organizing booth staff, graphics, handout materials and tracking budget
  • Organize pre-show promotion and post show follow up activities including reporting and leads
  • Manage inventory of trade show graphics, booth properties and product demos
  • Coordinate with other departments and outside vendors for the purchase and shipping of materials for trade shows and events
  • Responsible for promotional materials and items – inventorying stock, placing orders, verifying receipt
  • Maintain rigorous publishing schedule for social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) and measure results
  • Other duties as required


  • 3-5 years of marketing and/or events coordination experience, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Post-secondary education in marketing or related field
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SalesForce, web publishing, marketing automation tools is an asset
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated project management skills (managing multiple projects and competing deadlines)
  • Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a small team environment
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain Reliability level security clearance

  • This is a full time permanent role based out of Senstar's office in Ottawa, ON, Canada
